How to Use a Custom Logo Chocolate Bar as a Promotion
How to use logo chocolate bars as a promotional item is another entry in our continuing series of information on purchasing chocolate logo gifts. We have put together a series of short question and answer articles in regard to purchasing logo chocolates. In this article we will discuss the different ways a chocolate bar can be used to bring in new customers and increase your sales.
One of the questions we have heard many times is; “How can our company use a Custom Chocolate bar as a promotion”?
To answer this question we are going to use a real life case study – A few years back we received a custom Candy bar order from a retail clothing chain. They ordered 5,000 Personalized Chocolate Bars and had us package and send 250 chocolate bars to each of the clothing store chain outlets. On the inside of 247 wrappers, sent to each location, were coupons for 5% off a purchase, two additional custom chocolate bars had a coupon for 10% off, and one of the personalized chocolate bars sent to each location had a coupon for 20% off.
The clothing retailer advertised that customers that came in during a particular week would not only receive a chocolate bar but, inside the wrapper there would be a valuable coupon for a discount on any clothing purchase. As a result, all of the retail clothing stores indicated they were much busier than usual and reported higher overall sales during this week than the same week in previous years. The retail chain client was extremely happy and has used this same promotion over and over again for the past couple of years.
Tradeshows are another place that using chocolate logo bars can help you increase your traffic. In your pre-show mailings you can advertise that you will be giving away chocolate bars at your show booth. If that in itself is not enough to get people to the booth, you can also note in your pre-show materials that the inside one of the chocolate wrapper bars will have a winning ticket for a free gift of high value. Customers who have used this promotion have reported much higher traffic at their booth with more qualified leads than the previous years.
So to recap, the best way to use a custom logo chocolate bar for a promotion is to:
- Order Chocolate Logo Bars and theme them to your event or promotion
- Decide on a discount or promotional giveaway – A percent off with purchase or a chance to win a large prize
- Select How many bars will have a discount or promotion
- Advertise your event to your customers/public, through direct mail, or media outlets
- And Have fun and make more money
